As Kiltman says there are several hotels in the Marhaba group but the one simply called Marhaba is in Sousse. You can walk into the town to the Medina from there if you are feeling energetic. Before starting any real shopping have a look round the Soula Centre which is a large fixed-price shop just outside the Medina to give you an idea of prices. One other tip is to use my name when the shopkeepers greet you, Aslemma simply means 'hello' so they don't immediately know where you are from. There are a lot of Tunisian Arabic phrases on here but probably the two most useful are "la, ghali barcha" (no, too expensive) and "m'andee floos" (I have no money).
we are going to the marhaba hotel in sousse
Hope you all have a great time. I'll be back in Sousse early November for 11 days. Booked my flight with BA today as prices seem to be going up rather than down but will sort out an hotel later.
