Thought it would be lower than it is now the tourist season is kicking in.
On my last check it was still over 86 to the pound. It did dip a couple of weeks ago to 82 (when I transferred the holiday money) but its been rising again this week.
Wonder if it will stop high?
I always go over Xmas, and the rate has dropped each year at peak season :-(
Just had a look and it's at 86rps / £1 How long will it stay that high..
Just my luck that when it got transferred the rate had dipped to 82.
Oh well at least by mid November I won't have lost a deal and perhaps I may have gained
Chilly
Quick update, the rate on the street at midday Monday 26 Nov 2012 in Calangute was £1 = 88.50 INR and the weather is great
