Weather is usually low to mid 20's C during the day, shorts and T-shirt, beach visits, swim if you don't mind the sea being cold. Chilly, verging on cold, at night, with some inland areas getting very cold. Occasional rainy days and occasional storms. January is also the season of sandstorms off of Africa, a bad one can last two days. We have always been lucky and had a week of glorious weather, others have had a week of overcast and rain.
Lanzarote is never quiet.
