Weather in Oct/Nov....from experience it's mid to high 20's C during the day, shorts and t-shirt, and high teens at night, maybe a light sweater. Occasional rain, maybe one day in ten.
PDC has a large main beach, lots of bars, restaurants and shops. Plenty of trips available by bus or boat.
