:rofl I've booked next year's holiday but haven't got to pay the balance til Feb. 2013 so I'm alright then!!

I've heard of people around here who are taking it very seriously stockpiling tinned stuff and buying air pistols :think

If I truly thought it would happen then I'd be huddled up with my family and a crate of lager :yikes
Reply
yes- there are discussions elsewhere about what to stock up on. But there is not much point if the world ends is there? I would spend as much time as I could with family and friends. And perhaps a crate of wine!!

I like how you threw in a crate of wine at the end Fiona :) lol

Im more a lager drinker cant stand wine, Just thought it was funny that you added it in right at the end lol

Spending all my money on travel....

I asked my parents to check the date on their annual travel insurance policy the other month as they're due to come out to Cyprus for 4 weeks in November.

I'd been telling my dad about the 21st December theory. He went and got the policy and laughingly told me it's valid till 20th December 2012. They will be back home in UK by then!

Years ago as a kid I used to watch Space 1999 and at the beginning of the program it would flash up September 13th 1999 and I was convinced the world was going to end on this day . Needless to say it didn't !!
As a child I had even worked out that I would be 33 when the world ended , and I thought mmm that's ok because Jesus was 33 when he died , I think ITV caused me pyschological damage by doing this and I think it's unfair , but it has taught me that all these predications or interpretations are bunkum, there is nothing to fear , in the words of Frankie , ( of Frankie goes to Hollywood) RELAX :sun2 :sun2 :sun2

I'd be on a ship going around the world on a cruise which ended up after that date - I'd make sure to spend as much as possible on board and put it on my tab!!

Mm I think I would probably not bother buying my Mac computer that I am talking about on the other thread as I wouldn't get my money's worth out of it.

Perhaps I am looking it at the wrong way round, and it should be what I would do. :que

I don't think I will both to diet until the new year and the danger is over not much point in losing weight. Infact I might eat just what I fancy the next couple of months. :rofl

And Spains biggest lottery El Gordo, is drawn on 22nd December. Why did I bother to buy a ticket :)

I know some people who are having a big party on the afternoon of the 21st, going into the evening... all being well!!! So that they are all together for the end of the world... bless! Not sure about it myself, wernt we all waiting for it to happen on NYE 1999-2000??

But just to be sure, better catch up with everything I need to by then hey!

I have to say that I am glad my OH is home on that date. I've watched a few programmes on it since my visit and it is really scarey to be honest.

I am waiting until 22nd December to do my Christmas shopping. :rofl :rofl :rofl

Well of course it's not going to be the end of the world, and if it is you can tell me I told you so on the 22nd December ;)
