....... wednesday nights. good food and good company!! your other half (O/H) friends/family are welcome!!

Please note you do not have to add your name you are very welcome to just turn up... we all have a drink, many have a meal, we chat and exchange ideas and information on places to go and things to see and on general hints about Goa, Even those who have been going to Goa many many years find out things they didnt know!!

This year we are considering having a few theme nights, although again NOT compulsory, just for fun.

Although many of us have been meeting up for many years this does not mean we are a closed group, we very very much want to meet new people and make new friends. Many of us have become lifelong friends through the HT meets and we would love to add your name amongst those friends.Please dont be shy, if your name is listed we tend to look out for you on the evenings we know you are coming and introduce you and make you welcome. If you're not on the list you wont miss us!! just come over and introduce yourself or ask one of the bar staff, they all know us...PLEASE ...

DIRECTIONS to The Carvery: heading from Calangute to candolim on the main road, go past the football ground on your right and the small market on your left..then turn right down Candolim Beach Road (there is a chinese restaurant on one corner of the road and a small cigarrette kiosk on the right as you turn in) then follow the road down about approx 250 mtrs and the carvery is UPSTAIRS on your left hand side, the steps are to tcome on up and look for the rowdy lot!!! we are usually at the tables that back onto the staicase (by the bookcase) but if unsure just ask at the bar or one of the waiters.....(their ia a board downstairs u can add your name too)

Dragon i have put some of the ideas put forward against dates... if everyone is happy with that?

Also it would be good to organise another crabbing day as this was such good fun last year when we did it several times ... but I think it might be easier to actually plan this once we are all out there at the meets and it can be organised according to numbers, for those of you that didnt do it we all meet up, go on a boat down the river (max 10) drop our crab nets, stop for lunch on the river of samosas and beer and a bit of fishing with a rod and string yes!! we did catch some fish!! anyway the day is rounded up with us all pulling in our crab nets on the boat (approx 3 nets each) then the catch is cooked by the restaurant and served to us with plates of chips, all included in the price, only extras are drinks at the restaurant.. a great deal and enjoyed by all, (we went several times as aprt of a group...Dragons, myself, Meagain and others etc)
one time we also all went for dessert afterwards at chocolatti yummy!!! and then went back to mine, just down the road, where we all fell in the pool for a cool down anyone fancy it ??

trying to think what the cost was can anyone remember???

Also this year a daytime shack meet has been suggested and sounds great, again i think we could organise this once at the meets .... as well as other trips out

also forgot to mention the monkey trips are another popular option too ... another fun day out at the monkey sanctuary...

Fiona as we dont know where will be open but we will deffo meet up (all of us who are there) and we can plan it nearer the time if things change ...but for now i am adding it for the carvery... if the carvery is open it will be there if not we can decide where later ... i am pretty sure it will be open on the 3rd.... great !!! at last!!! how long are you there for??
