I remember something smilar in a hotel in Oul Deniz I think it was the karbel and the karbel beach and we stopped to watch ( was so hot they didn't play till gone 11pm) I think it was staff & guests of one hotel v staff and guests of t'other. Turks are pretty passionate about footie, seem to remember that all ending in tears someone went off with the ball then as well.

I think my love of football is known. I will watch it anywhere, everywhere and definitely on holiday.

We were in Parga in Greece when they shocked everybody by winning Euro 2004, Parga is generally quiet and very peaceful as this short clip can show (sorry for poor quality)

HI I was in Crete when they won it bad head the following day but wow did they (and us )party it was a good holiday also

Walking through the park near Fethiye harbour one evening.
We noticed some locals sitting round a tree and shouting at it.
When we got closer, we noticed a TV up in the tree.
they were watching Galatasari v Fenerbachi.
We were invited to watch with them and shared their boose I dont remember who won,
but a great night had by all.
