Hi all,
Firstly I'm not sure if I have seen this thread before so I will apologize now if so, and mods please move/remove.
My 2 daughters are off to stay with their dad in Texas for 3 months in 3 weeks time, if they were to get their phones unlocked in the UK then brought some type of sim card over there (at&t most probably) would this still work?
Thankyou,
CourtneeLouise x
Yes they would. However make sure they are aware of data roaming charges.
Would they still get charged for data roaming if they have a prepaid sim card? reason we are asking is because my eldest daughter went to Texas in June for 5 days and came back with a £240 phone bill.
No they wouldn't, they would have to pay t-mobiles rates to t-mobile so their UK provider wouldn't even know they had been out the country.
