I can do the not looking interested bit. I walk away from it and tell OH what I liked. But I have to stay clear as he doesn't want me to cave in and feel sorry for them
Cant stand places that do not show any prices abroad as I cant put up with the hassle of trying to get rid of the person if you are not anywhere near the price i want to pay. Happy to haggle if there is a chance of getting a deal
I love bartering . Can't say I've done a lot of it outside of Turkey and it's been a few years since we went last but I love the banter that goes with it all there . We could gets a whole 2 weeks entertainment out of buying a £10 watch and I would barter for my life on a decent fake handbag .
I wish I could barter but am too uncomfortable doing so
Haggle is what we do on holiday when we try to get the original price knocked down to somethiing more realistic, most of the time Mrs Kiltie does that part as I would just give them the silly price that they asked for in the first place or just not buy anything.
