Hi there,
Not sure if Darren or someone else will be able to help with this, we are flying to Cancun on Tuesday and my husband broke his arm 6 weeks ago , he is going to see the doctor later this afternoon. I know they will be leaving the open, half arm cast on, it has been on for 2 weeks, and I was wondering if he'll need a fit to fly letter.
Thanks
Irene
You should get a fitness to fly letter from his doctor as you'll probably to asked for one at check-in and he may need to have the cast losened, although if it's been on for that length of time, it should be ok by now, but best to check (it shouldn't be touched within 48 hours of the flight due to risk of swelling). Just mention it this afternoon and i'm sure they'll give you the advice needed.
Darren
Thanks for your help Darren once again.
