It should be a simple question to find an answer to...
Flying from Heathrow to CDG Paris and then onto Mauritius at the end of the month.
So when to check-in at Heathrow ?
Air France website says 40min on one page and 60min on another as minimum times. I always thought that for long haul from UK ( even a Channel hop and change) it was best to give at least 2 hours and safer with 3.
We have booked 'Premium Economy' to cut down on long queues etc.
We need to have some idea as getting to Heathrow means 3 train rides and 2 station changes so some timetable planning required.
Any ideas ?
Thanks
Brian
PS Air France don't seem to do customer help !
2 hours is the minimum I would want to allow before check-in. The times you quote are the latest you can check-in. Bear in mind you need to leave sufficient time to get through security and board the aircraft, hence I'd leave at lest 2 hours before checking-in at LHR. Presumably you'll be through checked to your final destination so you can just go straight to your connecting flight once in CDG. Depending on the terminal you arrive / depart from at CDG, it's about 45 minutes to an an hour to connect.
