Looking to take the family, (kids 13 and 9) on our first trip - going October half term and the week before.
In the process of booking now, probably a Disney Hotel and will read reviews on those.
Must admit to being slightly baffled by the choice!! So much to think about - food, hotels, passes, travel, Disney or International Drive. I normally love booking holidays but I'm a bit stressed out by it all!
Do we need a car hire if we're stopping in a Disney hotel - can we get buses around?
What tips can you experienced people give me as a new Disney-goer to make the experience worth the price
Extremely grateful!!!
I have been a few times but im not the best on the Subject. LOL Chris has a very good knowledge of Disney though! Im sure he will see this thread
If you stay at a Disney hotel you can get the "Disney Transportation buses" around. They stop at all the disney theme parks and hotels and are included in the price of your stay
Ive stayed at Animal Kingom Lodge - http://www.holidaytruths.co.uk/reviews/united-states/florida/walt-disney-world/disneys-animal-kingdom-lodge/
And Saratoga Springs (which we havent added to the site yet - doh)
Both are lovely hotels and offer a wide range of food options to suit all budgets. I'm back at Animal Kingdom lodge again in May!
Hope this helps a bit
Cheers, Phil
