Can anyone recommend any accommodation nr Highland Beach/Beach Road vicinity for next Xmas/New year?. No one seems to want to give any prices until June/July or they want to charge astronomical single supplements or they don't bother replying at all. I was wanting to go out for a couple of month's next year and my sister was going to join me for the three weeks over Xmas and New Year as that is the maximum time she can get off work. At the moment it looks as though we will be doing our usual 3 week package over Xmas and New Year and hopefully I can go out again later in the season. We need to get something booked as Liz has to get her time off work sorted out quickly. I would prefer something in the above area as I will be on my own and don't want to be wandering down dark alleys at night and most of the restaurants I would use would be within walking distance for me, not to mention the meet ups. Will give it a try for another week and then will revert to plan B for the 3 weeks. At least I will be probably spoilt for choice when the elections are on next year as it would appear no-one seems to want to go then with the risk of no drinking which wouldn't bother me when I am on my own as I will need to have my wits about me.
