Couldn't you try booking them with your current numbers and then when you renew your passports you would update your details ( new number) through the manage my booking on their website .
Have you looked on there FAQ or information page if there's a paragraph about it? There must be a way to change your passportport number, if needed once you've booked in manage my booking or similar. I don't see why they need this information this early on the booking. It's normally taken with API afterwards.

I don't understand it either. I've tried entering the current numbers and expiry date and it just says the date is invalid. I#ll have a look at the FAQ page now. Thanks
See if that works. In the future when you renew your passport and have a new number , you can then go into manage my details and update your personal details .
Most , well nearly all airlines don't require passport info when making a booking , it's a very strange request/ system just to book a flight in advance which is something most people do !!!
Anyway try the dummy numbers , and they can always be updated later .
I did find a contact form, so have sent them a message. Andy do you mean put 8161 in the box - sorry if it's a daft question
111111111. 9 x1 , and the expiry date as 111111. 6x1 as ddmmyy. Is 6 digits

Hi Andy. I had another look at the page, after my sister suggested that the information might not have been compulsory. She was right, & I am now in receipt of 2 e tickets to Brussels. Thanks for the help
Glad you got your tickets

You'll probably now get an email survey asking how easy was the website to use !!!!
