I spent a couple of nights in Douz when touring Tunisia a few years ago, I seem to remember visiting an interesting museum.
I always said I would like to go back and base a holiday in Douz and do some desert trips. Combining that with the festival might be a good idea. Perhaps next year.

I've wanted to go for years Judith but it's always around Christmas time, which is not ideal for someone with a family in the UK.
