After our recent holiday on Kos I have vowed not to go on holiday ever again. The man in the next room had sleep apnea and the snoring went on all night, except of course for the periods when he stopped breathing, luckily he went home after 3 days. I have changed rooms in hotels before when this happens.
I want a holiday in Europe that has sound-proofed rooms so I can get my beauty sleep.
Thank you
Carol
google soundproofed hotel rooms Greece and you will get a good selection
Why not get a private villa? That way you wont be disturbed by anyone. Otherwise get some ear plugs
Ear plugs? cant say i've heard the 'next door neighbours' in any hotel i've been in.
I sympathise Carol, hopefully as Fiona states you should find some if you google or a private villa might be the answer, though that can prove very expensive.
never been kept awake by snoring but was once kept awake for a long time by the 'activities' of the young couple next door
Heard that in an hotel in Benalmadina. It was the talk at breakfast because the hotel was full of elderly persons and everybody was having a good laugh about it because they all heard it. Never saw the couple involved.
We were in Ibiza 2 weeks ago and at 1-15am the very large headboard fell and hit the floor with a rather load bang, this woke the couple in the room beside us they then made a phone call that got rather irate and after that had a good row with each other before finishing there night well by being sick twice. great

you've just reminded me why I have spent the last five years summer holidays in private villas. Well that and no sunbed scrum.

I've bought these earplugs and they really work. They are not uncomfortable at all. In fact I forgot that I had them in. Going to buy a bigger box now.
