Dont worry there is a wind speed for each type of aircraft above which they cannot take off or land, Pilots are not suicide jockeys and most have homes and family's to get back to so they wont risk their own necks let alone yours

The flight took 3 and a half hours from Doncaster to Malaga due to the stong head wind blowing - making it late for our departure - It took us 2 hours 10 mins on the return from Malaga to Doncaster.
Shortest time I've ever flown back from Spain.
