hi all....
just sat at work...dreaming of our next trip to India...( only 83 days to go.. )
Just wondering are there any of you already in Goa....and if so can we have some reports.
There was snow on our decking this morning We were in Goa in March and couldn't believe when watching tele it was showing isle of man and the horrendous conditions in the snow hope it's not a repeat
Sorry for the delay too busy partying.
All good out here
Weather hot in the day but a cool breeze at night makes it comfortable.
Exchange rate at least 100inr to the pound
And nothing bad to report
A bit more time and chance for more info.
Both Candolim & Calangute have been quite busy due to the influx of Indian tourists celebrating Diwali.
It seems to be quieting down a little but the roads are still busy.
Prices seem to have gone up a little in some places and a lot in others.
Been to Calangute for a walk and a bite to eat.
A lot of bar signs are Russian where they used to be a mix of languages.
Manxcat. You are there early this year. Any news on how Glen is doing from Glens corner. Know he has moved. Wondered had you found him this year. Lucky you getting two trips in.
Hi , Glen is doing really well, very nice place by st.peters church next to Queen of Queens.
Great rate 101.04 today not had less than 100 back in march
Papa.
Showed Glen ur post, sadly we have just arrived back into Manchester after a great 2weeks.
glen is in the process of setting up a website.
are you going next year?
Manxcat
Seen Glens website its much better than his last one. Sadly I don't think we will make it this year. As you know last year Deb was quite ill for a lot of the holiday and its put her off somewhat. Added to that Goa has lost a lot of its shine for us over the last couple of years.
Having said that with it turning cold and a long winter ahead things may change.
If we don't make it we will miss everyone we bump into every year. Really enjoyed sitting in Glens at sunset catching everyone on their way home.
By the look of Glens website he is working his usual magic.
