Hi Fiona , just checked mine ... Only been in BAEC 18 months , so far 39000 miles , I think that 1.6 RTW ( it says 3.2 pole to pole ) 6 and 6 cities and countries and 3 days in the air , not forgetting 1 day in the lounges !!!

It only counts flights with your BAEC number attached and only flights on BA metal so I've read elsewhere .

By the time I'm leaving the lounge I've forgotten where I am it's quite nice to know that I will soon be able to have a lie down though

Have you got a cabana?

I rarely fly with BA but over 40years of longhaul travel, plus numerous short and medium haul flights each year, over the latter years mostly with Star Alliance airlines I think my totals would really add up. But I've probably forgotten a lot of my flights. Someone asked me recently how many different airports I had used and I counted 103, though no doubt I've also forgotten some.

I'm not that bad !!! I didn't book the cabana last year , we booked the massage chairs which were wonderful , we had a latish flight 21.30 and the lounge was quite empty , we were enjoying a last drink on the sofas and I was aware of someone lying down on the sofa behind me , turned out to be Kate Moss Wished I had booked a cabana

Andy My only brush with the rich and famous was sitting next to Keane in the Concorde lounge and going up in the same lift as Susan Boyle.

Said hello to Simon Calder in the Gatwick lounge , he had an old and battered laptop and ate an incredible amount of breakfast !!

Missus sees a lot at work , she wore a gold olympic medal while the Jamaican running team went through the metal detector when coming back from Beijing , she loved George Michael , very polite and quite talkative , and has a signed photo from David Ginola who had a bagful of photos on him .

I assume you mean Keane the singer ,( I think he went to Tonbridge school near where I live , ) now if it was Roy Keane , I'd love to have a chat with him

I had to google them as I heard them talking about their concert at Sao Paulo the next day- that was the only way we found out who they were!
