Hi all,

I'm planning to go to Goa anytime from Nov-mid Dec. I have heard this is a good time due to the end of the monsoon and start of the tourist season etc.

I will be going by myself and therefore will stay in a hostel. I'm looking for quite a "party" hostel where it's very sociable and lively, but also offers a private room where I can get a peaceful night sleep! Any recommendations?

Where would be the best areas to go for the festivals and partying etc as well as decent beaches?

Any other information would be greatly appreciated.
