Trip report January 2014/ Calangute and Palolem
It was our ninth trip to India and more and more we spend time in South Goa. This time it was 4 days but we decided that next year it will be 50/50.
I will miss Red Lion, Redonda and our friends in Calangute shacks but .... maybe I'm getting old

The trip was perfect again. We found "momos" from Tibetian kitchen this time for us. I do not know why we have not had them during our earlier trips! Delicious!

Love your photos but, I think your photo of an Eagle is actually a Black KIte.
Whereas the Eagle is a bird of prey, the Kites are scavengers (sh1te hawks.)

Thank you for these. I feel depressed now, as I wish I was there!

You can almost feel the heat and smell the essence of Goa.

It seems that this time we skip India and choose Cambodia. I am not very fond of India at the moment, its authorities bowing deep in front of country, attacking its neighbors.
Maybe after some years again but not now.

we plan to go in Feb.2015 so i just started checking things. at the moment I have information that you can apply online for e-visa for 27 USD, valid 3 months and you can stay for 30 days. (https://www.evisa.gov.kh/)
