Have been to see the doctor again today re malaria and was once again told I didn't need to take anything. I was also told I couldn't take P&C for more than 28 days even though I took it for 2 months last year - didn't know this as I usually buy them in Goa. Anyway I am going for 3 months this time so was told to just use a good repellent. I also managed to get my typhoid injection his time.

got my malerone tablets yesterday. you have to get it on script now from dr, tho I didn't b4 I bought straight over the counter from boots chemist, but this time for 28 tablets it cost 76 pounds, well worth it even if I did have to pay as im highly allergic to most insects and carry a eppie pen at all times so im sorted fly out to goa on the 3rd nov from Manchester.
