What is the difference between booking a package holiday with Thomas Cook and booking a flexible trip?
We want to book a holiday for 4 people, but if you try to book as a package it states there are only 3 seats available on the flight we want. However the seats are available if booked as a 'flexible trip', with the flights, accommodation and transfers with Thomas Cook.
I understand there would be no rep service, which doesn't make any difference to us, but what would happen if for example the flight was cancelled, would we still end up paying for accommodation?
Flexible Trips flight and hotel are still packages, they're just tailor made.
