Review, well it's not exactly a review, more like a long post but they had a great time there and they were the first to post a true 'users' opinion about this new hotel. Here's the link;

I have posted a review. Any questions feel free to ask.
Secondly - what gym facilities are actually at the hotel and is there an additional cost to use these facilities?
thanks everyone

There is a gym which is free to use, this is located just behind the main swimming pool.
If there is anything else just ask. We really enjoyed our holiday there.
Hi, you will love this hotel we stayed there last November it was perfect. One thing I wish I had taken if I had known was to take soaps and shampoos from the UK to give away to the people in Cuba, cosmetics are so expensive over there, we went on the 2 day trip to Havana and people were begging for soap not money. One of the english couples we were with left his razor and shaving foam at the overnight hotel he then had to buy these again back at our own hotel which cost him over £20 you can see why the Cubans cant afford shampoo!! Please take some and leave at the end of your trip for the room maid they will really appreciate it.
Thats a good idea, we took a load of travel size toiletries and left them for the maid during our stay. Wish we had taken some with us on our visit to Havana, as this is what people were looking for. Also left all our painkillers, plasters etc when we left. Toothpaste is also very good to take.
I'm planning to go to this hotel for a special birthday next year. Can anyone tell me which room numbers ( and type) to ask for, as I've heard that some are a lot better positioned (quiet and seaview) than others?
Thanks
I think any building would be fine.
The only blocks with sea views are the larger suite rooms, although you could see a bit of the sea out of our balcony.
Just booked 10 of us to this Hotel for May 2008, sounds very good. Any one had personel experiance. As the elected travel rep they left it to me to sort out and book. Hope ive made the right choice.
