Hi I'm just wondering if anyone can advise me on this. Basically Iv been fighting for a refund and compensation from Thomas cook from our holiday back In 2013. 5 weeks ago they gave me an offer of which I accepted, the solicitor stated they had 28days to pay the payment. They hadn't SO my solicitor called them of which they stated they would raise payment that day and monies would be seen in the account within 10-14days, it's 10days in 3 days time, does it usually take this long for Thomas cook to pay up, this has been an emotional rollercoaster I can't have this dragging out much longer, has anyone been in the same boat?

Companies can be a law unto themselves - you can always go to ABTA and raise your issue with them

I'm alreadybwith a solicitor though does that matter ?

Regardless of whether you are with a solicitor, you should still feel free to lodge a complaint with ABTA - it's what they are there for in these circumstances
