Coming through in the last hour that the Azure Window on Gozo has finally succumbed to the elements.
Gale force winds and rough seas yesterday and this morning brought about the collapse of this natural window formed by Mother Nature herself.
She's now destroyed her own creation

Really sad news Cyprus..
We were going to take the organised trip to Gozo while we're there next week as the Azure Window is usually the first stop of the day, but we've had a rethink now.... it won't quite be the same. Think we will do a bit more relaxing but perhaps a bus to Marsaxlokk instead as our friends who are joining us from Cyprus didn't get to see it last time.
You are off tomorrow aren't you? I hope you like the hotel
Our friends from Cyprus arrived today and have been to the Dolmen Resort Hotel..... it sounds like it's a bomb site. They've rather cryptically told us in no uncertain terms to most definitely do not ask Jet2holidays to move us back there!
Just put it all behind you and look forward to your holiday now.
