http://www.telegraph.co.uk/travel/news/ba-flight-delayed-for-five-hours-because-of-lack-of-toilet-roll/ I really do feel sorry for the cabin crew , who have always been great on my flights with BA , they do take the brunt of the anger of passengers in situations like this .
Absolutely crazy ! And it's going to be costly too !
I suspect there is a lot more to this story that we are not being told. It was not only toilet rolls that were missing, earphones were mentioned in one report. Airlines are very well organised in cleaning/resupplying aircraft as the turn round time is often not much more than an hour in some cases. It was either missed by ground operations or somebody deliberately did not do the job. Either way a little expensive and good luck to those who claim compensation - never know one of them might come on here for advice
I would like to think that BA will settle EU261 claims promptly , just to try and save face from an embarrassing situation , the total cost would only cost Willie 2 weeks pay !
