According to the WHO there have been no reported cases of the Zika virus in Mauritious - it falls into the category of having mosquitoes that could transmit it but there is no evidence that that they are infected with it.

This is a US Government site with very comprehensive information including a map of risk areas and Mauritious is in the lowest category ie e same one as the UK.

And the FCO doesn't list it as a health risk in their travel advice, just Dengue fever

From what I have read elsewhere the sensas seems to be the risk is low to nothing.

They originally wanted to go to the Carribean but that seems completely off the table ☚ī¸
