I booked a package holiday with tui
was due to fly out in 21st January this year
on the Friday night my husband was rushed into hospital with kidney failure
i contacted tui first thing Saturday morning to explain we would not be going in the holiday and I emailed them a certificate from the hospital explain what was happening with my husband
after many phone calls later past from pillar to post
still have no answers to what is going on with my holiday or any offer of a refund
as anyone else had any thing similar happen to them or any advice as to what to do next

The certificate is for your insurance company. You won't lose your money. Phone them up and let them deal with it. I had to do that last year and was dreading all the carry on as you are not at your best obviously . However it was very straightforward.
