Layed in bed last night/this morning...could not sleep...
You know what its like...you start thinking silly things...
Well, after i had been through every day of our next India visit...places to visit..food...which shack on which day etc...Then i just wondered about Dudhsaga Falls :think. We have all been or will be going the next time (if not why ???)....When your having a nice swim in the cool (sorry VERY cool) pool at the bottom of the waterfall..... and watching the monkeys play on the rocks..
.Is there anything at the top of the waterfall to stop debris from cascading down into the pool...... ie branches off trees...trees...cows...(no supermarket trollys thank God !!!)...If it were good old England...(Health and Safety) there would be some kind of device to stop anything from going over the edge....but i doubt it in India...
Can anyone enlighten me on the subject and has anyone been there when debris has entered the pool by means of the waterfall
P.S...dont let this stop you from going...its only a thought
BUT having said that it's not something I have ever even considered. We have been a couple of times and to be honest the only things worrying me were what happens if I slip whilst clambering over the rocks and break something OR my back gets injured during the very bumpy (but exhilerating and fun) jeep journey. (I already have problems)! Can't say I have ever seen any debris coming down but then I have been too busy enjoying my swim in that oh so cool and refreshing pool.
Have just shown the O/H your reply and he has agreed to go, so we will do that trip during our November visit. I have always wanted to go to the falls!
