I'm new here and I want to add that I would suggest doing some research on each country to get an idea of the culture, customs, and potential dangers. For example, Cape Town has a robbery rate 1.5 times higher than the national average, so it's important to be aware of your surroundings and take necessary precautions. As for budget travel, I would suggest looking into hostels, public transportation, and street food options. Locals might be able to give you some insider tips on hidden gems, so don't be afraid to ask around when you arrive. Best of luck with your trip planning!

My biggest tip for you, or anyone whois interested in traveling on a budget, would be to search for cheap accomodation. While it is nice to stay in a beautiful, big, expensive
hotel, it's important to think whether that's what you really need.
Maybe a small apartment or a hostel would be nice too. Saving money
on accomodation gives you the opportunity to spend it on local food
or tourist attractions. In my opinion, that's a better way to explore
the country, than sleeping in a big, fancy bed. Another way you could
save money is by using public transport instead of taxis.
