I'm looking to book a trip - Morocco - Italy - Spain - Portugal - Cape Town - for next year in December. I'm looking for any travel advice on things to avoid and the most budget way to travel. Are there any locals that know of some hidden gems I should know about?

Maybe a small apartment or a hostel would be nice too. Saving money
on accomodation gives you the opportunity to spend it on local food
or tourist attractions. In my opinion, that's a better way to explore
the country, than sleeping in a big, fancy bed. Another way you could
save money is by using public transport instead of taxis.
