You could try The Old Hall in Sandbach. Very friendly people, nice bar and VERY haunted !
try this place
thanks i will book one ore both of them
Not sure how haunted it turned out to be but I did try to get my cousin in law to have her wedding there
We stayed at the Mermaid Inn,Rye,Sussex and there is a diary for every room in the Inn. We stayed in the Elizabethan room(with an axe murderer) and I was really scared. although I didn't see anything, when the room service came in the morning the man was really surprised as there had been so many sightings and strange happenings. The inn is one of the oldest in England and is very interesting. This was booked by my husband for our 10th wedding anniversary and I can tell you that I didn't get much sleep but not for the reasons you may think!! Sharing your room with a drunken axe murderer wasn't much fun, as for my husband, he had alot to drink and slept like a baby all night. MEN!!!!
I know this is probably a long shot - but I'm really intersted also - does anyone know if there are such breaks anywhere in Ireland?
