If you go into http://www.goredsea.com and go to street maps it tells you how far from tropicana Grand to the city centre 10km and from airport to hotel 5km unsur about taxi prices as ive still to go possibly someone else can answer that. Still not sure if this is what your asking as you mention Taba
airport .These distances are only from Sharm airport, and im not sure if theres a Tropicana Grand in Taba so just ignore my response if its Taba your staying in.

Thats what i thought , ive not been but didnt think shed be flying to Taba
unless its not a package holiday but separate flights and hotel .
Im not clued up on how far taba is to Sharm so im not much help,

I think Debs has answered you question re distance in an earlier post. Taxi fares in Egypt are very cheap compared with the UK.

Now, are you sure you know where you are flying from!!

It must be around 140 miles from Taba to Sharm and Taba airport is pretty much in the middle of nowhere. I would imagine your best bet would be to contact the hotel you are staying at in Sharm and getting them to give you a price for a transfer. I don't think it will be cheap! Maybe Swisssinai will have a better idea, if he doesn't respond to your post, send him a PM.
