we are of to sharm in 2 weeks staying at the laguna vista and would appreciate any info on the hotel. is there good snorkelling nearby? what's the food like in the hotel? can you tell us if the hotel supplies beach towels or do we need to take our own?

can anyone tell me if they have stayed at the laguna vista garden this is the sister hotel o the laguna vista resort in sharm, i know it was supposed to open in novembe 05 but havnt been able to find any news about it, have booked for august couldnt get into laguna vista resort but managed to get in this one any info regarding anything on these two hotels will be greatly appriciated, stayed at conrad last august and fell in love wth egypt, cant wait to go back, our 19yr old son is going back to conrad with a friend in may but we thought we would try a different hotel, laguna vista looks realy nice in brosure and on web, am celebrating 40th birthday so hope i wont be disapointed. thanks in advance.

hi just wanted to let people know if they have booked to go to the laguna vista gardens in sharm(as we have) have found out from another forum that this hotel is still being built, brosure said it opened november 05. have contacted thomas cook who told us they wern aware of this and we are now waiting for a resort report to be sent back to thomas cook. aparently the hotel isnt going to be finished for at least 4 or 5 months. so at the moment we cant do anything but sit and wait. anyone who is going or has been please keep us informed thanks.

Any one been to the Laguna vista??. I've read most of the reveiws on a number of sites with varying opinions. What my wife and I would like to know is, the trip to the pyramids we understand is a long day or should i say 2 days. Someone told us that it is much better to fly there and back the same day. Is this an option with the tour reps trips or is it something that has to be booked elsewhere. Also how much is this option??.

We are due to go to Laguna Vista in June and was hoping someone has been before and can answer some queries. We have a night flight on our return, can you ask for a late checkout? Are there any trips you would recommend or avoid! Any advice / tips would be great as we have never been to Egypt before and are really looking forward to it but have heard mixed reports about the hotel.

Looking for information about this hotel. My husband and myself are taking my Mum to this hotel in October and we have booked a duplex bungalow, can anyone tell me if the sofa bed upstairs is big enough for 2 adults as we don't really want my Mum to have to climb up the stairs to go to bed at night. And I would rather share a bed with my Hubby than my Mum! or is it easy enough to change our duplex to 2 interconnecting rooms when we get there? Thomas Cook wasn't very helpful! ANY HELPERS.

( despite my son getting bit by the fish he is going to brave the snorkelling once again - this time he is taking a friend to get bit first ! )
thought we would try out this hotel ( laguna vista ) as we were very dissappointed in the iberotel club fanaras beach - any advice/info/tips or photos?
