I stayed at the Tsokkos gardens hotel 2 years ago when I went to cyprus we had the bargain of a lifetime we was of the people that got a 99 quid holiday from airtours when we booked our main holiday with them and we ended up in this hotel. Its fantastic really clean and airy, great pool area you can upgrade to AI in you want its really worth it. Yes I usually go to Turkey for my hols but I have to admit that Cyprus is really nice as well. 8)

Hello

I stayed at this hotel 3 years ago. The pool is fabulous, big enough for everyone. The bedrooms were good too, we hired the use of the fridge which was really useful. Bedrooms are standard Tsokkos hotel rooms.

This year we are staying at the Avanti in Paphos. Hope the rooms are as good.

Have a great holiday. And if you want some fab food eat at Evandrea's restaurant just across the road and down from the Anastasia (another Tsokkos hotel). It's about 5-10 minutes walk from the Tsokkos Gardens.

Thanks Kirren - have stayed at the Avanti three times and can't fault it (contrary to other comments on this site!) - pool area and gardens great. Try the Pegasus bar at the triangle (opposite the hotel) - also great for lunch time snacks and very reasonable. If your're staying BB you'll be spoilt for choice as the restaurants near the Avanti are great especially Cavallini (you have to book though). Have a great time.

Thanks Beaubrummie

That's good to know about the Avanti. My husbands colleague has been about 4/5 times and rates it highly, but I always worry when I read a poor review.

Once bitten, twice shy, as we went to accommodation in Arenal in Menorca two years ago - the reviews generally were extremely good but in reality pretty awful!!!

Can't beat Cyprus in my experience. It'll be about our 8th time. Have a good time in Protaras.

Wonder if anyone who has stayed there knows if there are pool towels provided in this hotel. going there next week all inclusive and would love to hear from anyone who has any tips for me.

Hi beaubrummie, I have stayed at the Tsokkos Gardens twice and would definetly go back. The hotel was lovely, the food very good, staff very friendly. The only downside was the entertainment was a bit ropey at times but we had a laugh anyway. The pool area is lovely and always clean and tidy. I would definetly recommend all inclusive as most hotels are very expensive.
I love Protaras and I'm actually off to Paphos on saturday and would much prefer to go to protaras but it is my brothers wedding so I didnt get a choice in the venue. Never mind I'm sure we will have a great time!!!

Hi sunbedsally, We have stayed at this hotel a couple of times and had a wonderful time. Most of the staff are very friendly. If you can get a pool view room as the views are a little better as on the other side of the hotel you just end up looking out at other hotels. You can hire pool towels for a small deposit.
Im off to the ledra beach hotel in paphos on Saturday for 2 weeks, my brother is getting married there on Easter monday. I have been to paphos as well before but i wish I was going back to Protaras as I much prefer that side of the island. Hope you have a nice time!!

I've stayed at the Tsokkos Gardens before with the ex a few years ago.. As others have said you can't fault the Hotel/Pool, Food etc... The only gripe we had was it's at least a 10-15mins walk to Protaras... There was a short-cut along a dirt track but i wouldn't recommend it at nite (no lights & pitch black)- especially when you come back tanked up on beer, but this might have changed now... :)

Hi, if its the Tsokkos Gardens in Pernera, i went there a couple of years ago. Yes its very good for children, its a family hotel. We took my cousins, at the time 3 and 6 and they loved it!

our friends were booked in the tsokkos gardens last August, when they arrived they were put to the hotel next door which was a major downgrade from the gardens hotel, They were able to use all the Tsokkos gardens facitlities which were very good, just disappointed in the way they treated upon arriving.
