Hi,

I've been to Salou in September twice and it was very hot both times. Last year we went on the 7th and the first week was hotter than the second week. The air conditioning in our room couldn't cope with the heat during the first week.

I've gone as late as October and still got very hot weather.

in my experience, it can be hot, but it can get a bit changeable in September, particularly towards the end.
I was there in early september a couple of years ago and it was nice rather than hot, just like a british summers day, then a bit chilly at night.
Basically you can get anything, but I would go in the first two weeks.
