Hello.
Myself and my partner are going to Santorini in August. We are going to book the flights through Expedia and get the hotel separately. I've found a few nice looking hotels but I've seen some dodgy reviews of them on similar boards to this. Can anyone help? Dameia Palace looks lovely and is reasonably priced but I saw a bad review of this... also the Atlas Group looks decent enough and is very cheap but I don't know if it will be any good.
Can anyone reccomend a nice place to stay in Santorini (not too far from airport!) which isn't too expensive?
All help is greatly appreciated.

Hi we went same time last year. And booked when we arrived, there was plenty of choice in all resorts. By doing it this way you get to choose to suit your pocket and your needs.....dave

We got booked through an airline called XL and the hotel through Holidayhotels.com
Got it very cheap doing it that way. Much cheaper than the packages we saw... just incase anyone else is thinking of booking.
