from previous experiance with thomson super family, you normally pay a small charge for the evening clubs if they are having a party (ie pay for chocalate and branded products) the creche facillitys are normally free for babysitting some reps do it for an evening and you pay for that but everything else is free.hope this helps
I would highly recommend superfamily holidays we have been on 4 and each one has been great, there is always something going on for the kids and also the adults!!! Best one we have been to is Fiesta Palm Beach.
Which hotel are you looking at?
I just thought id drop a line as im a Thomson Superfamily rep who worked in Ibiza last summer 2004!
What you pay at the travel agents is all you pay! The crech which is for 0-3 year olds there is a charge but the kids club 3-5 tots 6-8 team and 9-12 tribe are all free and so is all the games and activities there!!!
The kids club in some hotels also have video night where they may charge 1e for sweets and snacks but thats it!!!!
Have a fab holiday im sure you will!!!
Just out of curisoity where bouts are you staying?

Vicky, have you worked at San Miguel Superfamily hotel. I have booked for next year. I've read all of the very good reviews on this site, but what worries me is the size of the swimming pools at the hotel and beach club, and the poolside areas. They look very small. I have looked at them on Vidado.com. We will be going in school holidays. Will there be room for every one around the pool?
Thanks for the all the replies,we stayed at the Club Don Toni last year and had a great time but our son had just turned 2 so we didn't use the kids club much, thinking off goin back this year and we will definately use the kids club,we enjoyed PDB but we found it a bit boring after a week, thats the only thing thats holding us back from booking there again
Sorry i havent worked in the san miguel resort, i have been there however a couple of times for meetings and things! Most hotels now have their own websites if you drop me the name of the hotel i will see if i can find one for you!
Most hotels have the same problem in peak season and that is availability of sunbeds around the pools, some hotels have came up with a plan either to not allow guests around the pool until a certain time or the removal of towels if you are not at your sunbed for so long! i.e you decide to take a stroll down into the town and leave your towels on beds!!!
The only other way to find out this information is to go to your nearest lun poly/Thomson outlet and ask them to call the rep in resort! The reps hours are normally 8.30-1 and 5-8 so need to be in the travel agents pretty early!!! Other than that if you are happy to make a international call you can ask for the telephone number of the hotel and call up your self between these hours and ask for the Thomson rep! All superfamily hotels have receptions which can speak very good english!!!!
Hope this helps, let me know if i can be of any more assistance!

can any one tell me if the night time entertainment i.e. shows etc are done by the thomson entertainment team. My daughter is joining thomson as an entertainer this year.
Skinnybot: Well when we have been the previous 2 years, we found that there was enough room around the pool. Although you may struggle to get a sunbed, we always managed to, and we went in the busiest two weeks they have. If you would like more infomation on the hotel you can visit
Thanks, Myonelove for your reply. I still think the pool at San Miguel Hotel looks very small, but opinions on the hotel in general are very good, which is why I booked in the first place. Going in school summer holidays, and looking forward to it.
I wouldn't say that the pool is small, but I have seen better. The kids seem to like it enough though, especially as last year they had added a small slide for them. I am also going in the summer holidays!i can't wait!3rd year in a row, so it must be good!
