Can anyone help we wanted to go Ibiza mid august and wanted to know;-
some good hotels (with aircon) in the lively resort of Ibiza (is it San Antonio bay??) we were looking for a hotel with all inclusive, that's near to the beach / clubs (but not 2 close that you can't sleep )
also
what sort of money should we take (2 ladies) going for one week, I was thinking £500 quid?
are there another discussion boards about Ibiza and the clubs?
thanks
a decent hotel part way around the bay in san antonio is called the hawaii which offers everything you need, about ten minutes walk into san an but far enough away to get some sleep on a night, in san an you will find esparadis but the larger clubs are in the centre of teh island
have a look at th is forum which is dedicated to ibiza and has a clubbing and non clubbing section. I go to san antonio every year and find it fab, the club and music scene is fantastic regardless of how old you are. You have the busy west end which is packed bars and pubs and the more upmarket sunset strip area with famous bars such as mambo, cafe del mar, sugar sea and further round is coast line, these are where the best preparties are held before the clubs open and you will find most of the big name dj's playing there.

Thanks lukey
Have a look at my review of the Green Oasis Nautilus, San Antonio Bay.
Sounds just what you're looking for! (in the Hotel Review section - see above).
Any questions, let me know

Ibiza Town is home to the night clubs El Divino and Pacha, the largest club in the world Privilege (home of Manumission) and across the road Amensia are just a short taxi / bus ride away.
Ibiza Town is more friendly and is home to the clued up clubbing crowd, with its all night markets, parades and cosmopolitan bars in the old town mixing in with a varity of resturants and traditional spanish bars and british pubs. It is a slightly more grown up crowd who are up for a party in the clubbing capital of the world.
San An is home to British pubs offering happy hours serving people often between the ages of 15 and 21 who are out to binge drink, its home to some of the islands worst violence and problems. There as mentioned are some good places in San An such as the sunset strip for clubbers and Cafe Mambo, Savana, Cafe Del Mar, Coastline Cafe and Bar M are all worth a visit. However it has to be said I lived over on Ibiza and have many friends on the island, most I know find San An, espically the West End and embarrassment to the rest of the island and a large part of the problem causing decline in tourism over the entire island.

Is SAntonio near Ibiza Town? I want a hotel in the heart of this and want to travel to all places. Can you recommend a hotel in Ibiza Town?
ole dear I'm 21 & my mate is 25 - I don't want to be surrounded by 15 yr olds
http://www.google.co.uk brings up many websites offering accommodation in the city.. If you really want to go for it have a look at the Pacha Hotel, click on english version and then EL HOTEL on their site - http://www.pacha.com/ or something like Royal Plaza - http://www.ibiza-spotlight.com/royalplaza/ or use a website like http://www.cheapaccommodation.com
You will probably have to do it DIY rather than package holiday to stay in Ibiza Town but I am sure you will find it worth it when you are having your first night out in the marina and old town area of Ibiza Town.
I haven't stayed in hotels in Ibiza much as most of my time there has been living there, however the city is full of them and to fit all budgets. The unfortunate thing is that many British tourist companies don't have much of a foot hold in them therefore send people to San An or the town just outside Ibiza Town, Playa Den Bossa... searching on You will probably have to do it DIY rather than package holiday to stay in Ibiza Town but I am sure you will find it worth it when you are having your first night out in the marina and old town area of Ibiza Town.
