i thinks its cheeper to buy in bulk at the airport but single or a few packs then probably buy in rome its self the going rate from a tabbachi (fag shop) is around 2.90E for a 20 box so about half the price of here in the uk.

dont qoute me on this but i think 200 cigs in the airport (champino) were 35e for marlboro lights but i could be wrong! some one else might be able to tell you if thats right or not

Prices for cigarettes are the same everywhere in Italy, where you buy them at the airport or at the local tobacconist. Prices are set by the State, not the shop keeper. And they only take cash.
