I would personally go for Ibiza Town, thats a fantasic place on a night and has the clubs El Divino and Pacha its also very friendly where as I think San An can be a bit rough espically as its pretty much a brit only sort of resort whereas Ibiza Town is a real european and american mix.

Also have a trip up to Santa Eulalia and pop into the Queen Vic http://www.ibizaqueenvictoria.com ... say hello to Neil, Kerry and their little one Megan, grap a beer, watch some sport. Neil and Kerry will make you feel at home there.

Hi, ive just repli9ed to your similar post in the cyprus forum, if i were you i would definitely try san antonio instead of ayia napa, there are a lot more cosmopolitan type bars around the sun set strip area of the town which attract a wide range of people from young to old and you dont look out of place on your own. I stayed there for 2 weeks on my own in 2001 and had a really good time, was the first time on my own abroad but felt really relaxed there

Hi I'm also travelling alone for the first time in October and I'm staying in San An Bay. I stayed in Es Cana 4 years ago and Playa D'en Bossa 2 years ago but with a partner so I'm also feeling slightly nervous about going it alone.
I'm sure it will be great once I get there but I know how you feel.

Have a great time, relax and enjoy yourself, I intend to
Let us know how you get on.
