Prague Airport Shuttle (I booked online) is superb.

Will be waiting for you in arrivals, and can pick you up for return journey if needed. A little pricey but very good.

Otherwise, just use the Cedaz (or similar name) on arrival at airport. Reasonable charge both ways (even cheaper on return if you just turn up at Nemesti Republiky metro station pick up point - about £2 for return trip per person).

I have also got transfer via the hotel I booked with. Seemed reasonable.

Hi Lottie,

Travelling from the airport in a taxi is OK, as you can use "reputable" firms and get a fixed price it's the other way around is expensive. Very expensive!

Hi

I've just arranged with my hotel by email for a taxi transfer from the airport. They quoted £15 each way for up to 4 passengers. With that being door to door and a private transfer (no other stops en route) I booked it, seems very reasonable, especially as there's four of us.

Good luck with your arrangements. :D

Last time we used Cedaz minibus and they were fine and very reasonable and safe. Just itching to get to your own hotel as they stopped at several others to let folk off and of course ours would be last! In September we are booking the hotel taxi same as you totp - still following you about! Think its good value and great comfort to start and end the holiday.

We stayed at the Hotel Tyl last year, and some friends went just after on our recommendation.
I penned this so they could use public transport to get to the hotel.

Airport to Hotel Tyl

Turn right after customs, find the kiosk Transport Info Bus-Metro-Tram

Buy 12 Kc ticket for each person and 6Kc for each large luggage piece

Come out of terminal building cross road, bus stop for 119 bus is on the right.
Take this bus to end of line, Dejvicka Metro is just on the left as you exit bus.

Take the metro to Museum stop, go up escalator to "C" line, take metro on left to IP Pavlova, next stop.

Come out of station, 39 shop is in front of you, walk past it, turn right at KFC on your right, and the hotel is about 30 yards on the right.

It took around an hour.
