I have just arrived back from Santa Eulalia with my wife and 2 children.
We went with First Choice and stayed in the Hotel Club Siesta in the subdistrict of Siesta, a short 10 min walk to the centre.
The weather was fabulous, and averaged out at 30 degrees, plus there is a cool breeze blowing.
We went 1/2 board and though food English orientated and slightly repetitive, was plenty and tasty.
Look around as you can get beer at 1.5 euros a pint in the small bars, but not in the established bars where 3 euros seem the average.
Spent approx £600 in 2 weeks as unless you went on loads of trips, or spent it all on booze and fags, it was hard to spend!
My 2 kids are 5 and 4 and had a fabulous time in the kids club. Saw many other hotels and their set ups.
If you would like some more info on basically anything (visited many places) just contact me via this or pm me.
Enjoy your hols, I will be returning to Ibiza in the very near future.
More posts to be done in other sections plus pics as soon as I have time.

Hi Markas, Glad to hear you had a fabulous time in Santa Eulalia. Me and my girlfriend are going to Santa Eulalia this wed for 2 weeks. Staying at the Hotel Riomar. Will be first time staying in Santa Eualia could you tell me what the beach is like there? Are there any Sunbeds for hire? and do they have any english restaurants in the resort? Ta
also going to Santa Eulalia in couple of weeks , with similar aged children (Orquidea hotel).
Was the resort ok for kids ? Did you get out and about on an evening or mainly stay in hotel.
Did you visit Es Cana ?
Any info at all on the resort etc would be much appreciated.
Cheers in advance.

Hi, I am sure Markas will be able to help you with this as well... but from my experiences (I used to live in Santa Eulalia and was on holiday there in May) the beach is absouetly fantasic, probably one of the best inner town beaches you will find worldwide, around it is many international bars, cafes and restuarants including many english if you want to go all the way to Spain to eat English food!

The resort its self has a very adult feel to it, with children not really catered for as much as in other resorts on the island which is exactly why most visit there.

the beach is absolutely fantastic! it is cleaned every morning and is miles of pure sand....there is a bit of seaweed, though this is no problem.
parts of the beach have sunbeds at 3 euro per day, but a large area is for diy.......
there is many eateries and everyone does english, though there are specialists, including indian and chinese.
have a great time, and let us know what you think.

my kids are 5 and 4 and wernt too interested going anywhere but to the kids club, pool and beach....none of these let me down.
your hotel is right on the beach front and was always buzzing! we were told by some residents, that your hotel entertainment is the best in town for all age groups throughout the day n night.
i would recommend at least 1 trip by local ferry for the views, buses are dirt cheap, and all the restaurants offer evening entertainment. Mariners have theme nights with live flamenco on sundays. The bridge over the river has great views with a play park at the end. Fish swim all over the place, try throwing in a full slice and see them devour it in seconds.....there are also wild ducks and acient waterfall by the roman viaduct......check out the rich n famous at the marina, speedboats from 240,000 euros 2nd hand.....hippy market isnt that good, long trek n not cheap....
Hope this helps, Mark
Hi there, don't worry your kids will love Santa Eulalia, I am simply saying that unlike resorts such as Es Cana and San An it doesn't go out of its way to cater for children as the resorts main clientele is probably couples after eating in nice resturants, soaking up the culture, reading a book on the beach and exploring the town and marina area during the evening. Maybe I should say it like this, there is family friendly entertainment to be found in Santa Eulalia but you have too do exactly that, find it! Whereas in places like Es Cana you can't miss it!
Santa Eulalia is my favourite town on the island closely followed by Ibiza Town.
If you have booked in at a decent hotel then you will probably find very good entertainment and kids clubs in there which is what most families take advantage of even in places like Es Cana anyway.
Hope you and your family have a fantasic holiday. Don't let me bumblings on put you off!

Cheers all, can't wait. Sounds a lovely place - and will make an effort to try see fair bit of the island.
Thanks mark & mobeckwith for the detailed info, Were really looking forward to our holiday
