Is there anyone out there who has been to Spetses (a small saronic island near to Athens) My friend go to different Greek islands each time we travel. We try to island hop and visit at least 2/3 islands each time, and hire a moped. (Not bad for Forty somethings!!!). Anyway we are going to Spetses in September and want to know if we can hire mopeds on Spetses because I keep reading motor vehicles are not allowed on the island.
Does anyone know please?

Hi Crissy. We went to Spetse about 12 years ago with a big group of friends (before we all had kids). We hired mopeds for getting around so I'm sure they will still be available. I remember we had a good laugh getting lost in the dark around all the little side roads (probably after one too many ouzo's!!)
