Recently returned from Playa B.Thouroughly enjoyed it,had been to Teguise before and P.D.C much preferred Blanca.Also had the pleasure of meeting Bawbee, who is just as helpful and knowledgeable in the flesh as he is on this site.
Restaurants were very good, and to anyone who is going soon, not all the best restaurants are on the beach front.We found a really excellent one called El Marisco which is to the right of the roundabout as you head into the pedestrian precinct just past the taxi rank.Sea food is their speciality but also try the shoulder of lamb, really impressed with this place.Can't wait to go back to this resort again,cheers,groucho

going to playa blanca in august to the sun royal.i know it doesnt have air-con so do you know if i can buy an electric fan if so how much.when we have hired them before i dont think they are much good so looking to buy a couple and sell them on when we come home

Yes, you can buy them. The problem is they tend to run out of them in the hot weather, especially the smaller ones. If you've got a car, go to the Ferreteria in Tias.
