Im off to escana August (Fiesta cala nova) are the prices okay for drinks - im staying half board so not particularly bothered about restaurant prices is there plenty to do at night

Not Es cana but in Playa D'en Bossa I'd say the price for a pint is between £1.40 - £2.00 depending where you go!

Hi,

If value for money and prices cheaper than those you pay in England are what you are after then, wherever you stay, if you're invited along for a drink in the island's capital, Ibiza Town, decline. It's worlds apart from the West End in San Antonio in that it attracts a rich, European party crowd and the food and drink prices match the clienteles' tastes... Expensive.

The bars and restaurantsare centred along the port area, where the marina is, and you can expect to pay 8 euros (about £6) for a beer and 10 (£7-8) euros for a spirit -mixer. The food prices are pretty much in line with the drinks prices... Off the scale!

I think that you are talking about the area known as La Marina, the actual marina is on the other side of the bay near El Divino. The prices in the trendier bars in La Marina are high, however there are plenty of bars in the area where you will pay much the same as you do anywhere else on the island.

The West End of San Antonio is an exception as the idea there is to get the tourist to drink in quantity, sure it is dirt cheap to drink there but the quality is dubious to say the least.
