I am sure you will all have a great time. I will look forward to your views when you return. Eight weeks on Saturday it will be our turn.

hi anne i will let you know as soon as i get back. packing just about done
Have had a great holiday at Rey Don Jaime, Santa Ponsa. Had a lovely week with great weather and the Hotel and resort is just as good as 2 years ago when we last went there, but sadly a week goes all to quick. [/img]
I also didn't realise that Santa Ponsa would be that lively, all the reviews I'd read previous to going depicted it as a fairly quiet resort...it was anything but quiet!! A great time was had by all.
A friend of mine has asked me to look up a contact number for this hotel. I did manage to get a number but he says it just keeps ringing out. Does anyone know if this hotel closes in winter? Or do they have a contact number for either this hotel or for the Marina hotel group
Many thanks
Niki xx

As for the area is it any good if you like activities such as water sports/horse riding? Were a family of four with a 21yr old and 15yr old.
Thank you
EDIT: Merged with existing thread which may provide some useful info

I think it is the same hotel, owned by the Marina hotel chain. I have passed by it last year looks good. I imagine it would have day activities being a chain owned hotel . The beach is lovely plenty of watersports on offer. Sorry don,t know anything about horse riding When are you going ?, I go to the Playas del Rey Santa Ponsa in September so have a few weeks to wait yet. Have you looked on Santa Posa scene website worth a look for a bit local info?
I'm staying at the Rey Don Jaime in Santa Ponsa in May and was wondering what the best room to ask for is? My husband will not use lifts so we always ask for low floors. Looking at the brochures there does not seem to be many balconies overlooking the pool. Is there a sunny side to the hotel? I would welcome any comments from anyone who has stayed here.
Thanks
Marie

can anyone tell what the e-mail is for this hotel. Was going to ask for a first floor room overlooking the pool area. Has anyone any other recommendations as we haven't been before
