Thomson vouchers by any chance?

we are always getting people in asking about them. you have to book direct with them by either calling the number on the voucher or going in to the shop, of which there is only one in the country i think! their address is on the voucher too (kent?)

They are actually Landround Travel vouchers. You have to book with them, for any ABTA company (not direct sell).

hi,
sorry this is a bit late to answer your query.
I think they are based in Leicester and i have dealt with them before. I got a voucher for a weekend in Bruges or Amsterdam last year. All it cost me was the insurance and everything went smoothly with no hitches so i would be willing to give them another go. If youve already used them let me know how you went on ok

Have booked and been on two holidays through Landround now, and no problems at all. They are very helpful and polite.

I have one of the Time Out 2 for 1 flight vouchers for the States, hoping to travel by April this year. I've been told by Landround that flights for March/April haven't been released. As time's getting on I wondered if anyone else was waiting for news. (Strictly speaking Landround are breaking the T&Cs of the offer which state they'll offer flights within 14 days of receiving your application, but I'm prepared to overlook this!)

I applied for flights on march 1st 2006 they rang me this week and offered some £140 via rekjavik iceland but only gave me 24 hours to accept !! I couldn't make all the necessary arrangements so had to decline . No flexibility allowed

Landround finally phoned to offer me my third choice destination on my first choice of dates. Cost would have been £375 in total for two people. I declined as I'd already booked flights to NY (where I wanted to go) for only an extra £50. Probably best to avoid these offers unless you have no time or date restrictions - and even then check you can't book it cheaper yourself!

I used a £150 ABTA voucher to book my holiday to Tunisia on 4th April 07. The only downside is Landround take forever to answer the phone, then to book your holiday over the phone, it has to be out of a brochure, you don't get the online discounts, you can't use any other vouchers in conjunction with it.

If you don't supply Landround travel with your own travel insurance details by a certain time, they will automatically deduct money off your card for their own travel insurance.

They tell you that you have 7 days to return the paperwork and confirm the booking, but I sent it back 2 weeks later and everything was ok.

Have yet to go on the hols.

Paperwork was supplied quickly and I got my tickets 3 weeks ago.
