Not sure if this is too late...But thought I'd say I've travelled with Travelscope to Toronto for 1 week, and last year to Vegas, Grand Canyon and LA. Really excellent value, well organised and the hotels were very good - which is why I've now booked San Fran for January. Be interested to hear any other feedback.

There is so much choice and I want to see everywhere in China, but I don't think my budget would let me. We used Travelscope in May for New Orleans, Graceland and Nashville. It was excellent value for money and extremely well organised.

You say you want to see everything in China - well I think you will need slightly more than nine days!!!!

I have travelled independently to Beijing on two occassions and there is enough there to keepyou busy for a week.

If you are going to Shanghai amd Terracotta warriors as well there will be a lot of internal travelling but it will be an excellent taster and I am sure you will want to go back for more.

Ginny - just to follow-up I've now heard back from China Holidays and they've done us a fabulous 20 day tailor made package for a really reasonable price which includes 4 nights at the Peninsular Hotel in Hong Kong so they are definately worth a look.
