Turkey is excellent in Sept (I'm off on the 3rd). What about Marmaris? Tenerife (PDLA) is great in Sept. The Greek Islands will still be hot but getting a little quieter in Sept, still great though.

Thanks. I'm happy to go anywhere with a bit of life as long as its cheap. I'm off to ibiza next week but want to book a last minute VERY cheap holiday in September with another friend
Ayia napa's still lively through to Oct,Im sure you'll get a last minute if you're not bothered about accomodation on arrival 
I am a bit nervous about booking an allocation on arrival holiday actually. Its not so much the accomodation that bothers me, its the location. Hate the thought of being stuck in the middle of no where spending the whole time getting taxis.

Cyprus Ayia Napa The best and can still be in the 90s.
Marbella is lovely, very cosmopolitan atmosphere and lovely in September...BUT, if you are looking for somewhere cheap it's not the place: eating and drinking out can be quite pricey.
I think you'd be safe enough in Ayia Napa without having to resort to taxis and sometimes you have a group of 3 possibilities where you'll be staying for you to see.As qatarman said-it's still hot- and it's still busy with young people.Good luck anyway,hope you find what you want

Certainly think you should look at Malia in Crete.
Weather is still hot and when we went end of September, the hotel and resort etc were still lively.
